    73rd Independence Day of India Celebrations on 15 August 2019

    Attended the 73rd Independence Day of India Celebrations on 15 August 2019 at India in Thailand (Embassy of India, Bangkok). HE Ambassador Suchitra Durai ji unfurled the national tricolor followed by Singing of the national anthem and reading out the President's of India's Address to the Nation. Around 400+ people, including members of the Indian communities and Associations, families and friends of India among Thai nationals, attended the event.Students from Modern International School, Bangkok (MISB) and members of the Maharashtra Mandal sang patriotic songs and a member of the North East Indian Association recited a patriotic poem. Altogether a wonderful experience.

    IAT Legacy project in Lopburi Provence.

    Indian Association of Thailand committee and members Attended the Handover Ceremony of the multi-purpose Ban Heo Ta Bua School, an initiative by #IAT Legacy project in Lopburi Provence. Our association made a library for the school kids to help shape a better future in educating the kids there. Had loads of fun with the kids, organised games and small event for them and spent the entire day there.
