Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon signed an MOU with GJPMCT to establish Institute of Gemology Thai Jewelry and Design (IGTJD) at RMUTP.
On June 20, 2019, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon signed an MOU with GJPMCT to establish Institute of Gemology Thai Jewelry and Design (IGTJD) at RMUTP. In this regard, Prof. Dr. Suraphong Sothasathien, President of the University Council, presided over the signing ceremony of MOU to establish IGTJD. The MOU was jointly signed by Assoc. Prof. Supatra Kosaiyakanont, President of RMUTP, Mr. Somchai Phornchindarak, Chairman of the GJPMCT, Mrs. Porntiva Nakasai, President of TGJTA and Presidents of 14 associations which are member of GJPMCT. The purposes are to create academic cooperation in supporting knowledge and personnel between RMUTP and the Thai gem and jewelry industry as well as to nurture personnel, create jobs and careers for the gem and jewelry industry in the future.
